GLORIA L. WEATHERSPOON
Founder / Chief Executive Director
Gloria L. Weatherspoon "Glo" originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has served over 25 years of military service, retiring from the Air Force at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. During her time, she served in multiple career fields and leadership positions, serving hundreds of thousands of Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Guardians and Coastguardsmen. She is a highly decorated veteran who has deployed in support of Operation SOUTHERN WATCH, Operations ENDURNG and IRAQI FREEDOM and Operation INHERENT RESOLVE.
Glo has over 3000 small group facilitation and group experiential learning hours, with participants ranging from senior level executives with over 20 years of leadership experience to junior level employees with less than one year in the organization. She has over 15 years of experience in Diversity and Inclusion program management and implementation. Glo advocates relentlessly for honoring the experience of others and allowing others to live openly as their authentic selves. Her advocacy work and level of self-awareness led her to pen the self-paced journal titled "Live Out Loud" and create her company, Live, Laugh, Lead Consulting LLC; a company that specializes in coaching, speaking, education, training, and development in the areas of leadership, human relations, relationship building, social, emotional, and cultural intelligence.
Glo has developed a specific model of development called L3. She connects how your story and lived experience play a significant role in how you show up in the world to your family members, friends, community members, and teammates in the workplace. The L3 development model encourages others to take steps toward living a life of purpose and finding joy in life's journey. It is her belief that these steps will give you the fuel you need to love, honor, and be kind to yourself first and enable you to give to the world the best you have, as you lead in every area of your life.
She holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management, and Associate Degrees in Logistics Management and Social Services. She is Certified DISC® Profile Analyst, Emotional Intelligence Assessment Analyst, and Master Resilience Training Instructor. Glo is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and has over 1000 hours of community service in Brevard County, Florida, where she and her family reside.
